- Summary:
The primary focus of the Benefits Products and Services Vice President is to market, sell and work with long-term care and commercial health insurance customers to provide solutions to their business needs. The Vice President will have overall top-line financial responsibility for the entire array of products and services for this product line. Business development and customer relations are key elements of the job.
- Knowledge & Skills:
A proven track record in business development, marketing and sales; exceptional organizational, leadership, interpersonal, and overall project management skills; long term care insurance and claims management knowledge; significant geriatric clinical experience; demonstrated ability to write well and respond to Request for Proposals; demonstrated ability to work well with customers in analyzing client business requirements; successful experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships; exceptional communication skills including writing and presentation skills; computer software skills that include knowledge of MS Word and Excel with ability to learn database programs; ability to travel as needed to assure business development and customer retention.
- Education and Work Experience:
Graduate Degree or equivalent; RN or BSN required; demonstrated ability to grow a business as well as negotiate contracts; minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory position managing direct reports.

- Summary:
As an office based clinician, the Clinical Consultant will be responsible for review and analysis of medical and cognitive information.
- Duties & Responsibilities:

Reviews long-term care information for completeness and accuracy with focus on quality assurance.

Verifies that predictive cognitive exercises are properly administered and protocols are followed.

Ensures medical information is completely documented and coincides with current medications and past doctor’s visits; evaluates functional status related to ADL’s and IADL’s and assures proper documentation of each applicant’s physical ability.

Identifies standard diagnostic criteria, care, and treatment for clinical conditions including inconsistencies in medical information.

Demonstrates the ability to identify when additional information is needed through communication with claimant/applicant, assessor, or medical provider.

Exercises good judgment in determining need for services and utilization of appropriate resources.

Involvement in special projects focused on improving customer service and enhancing the development of the Clinical team.

Demonstrates ability to prioritize, balance time and maintain quality to meet established time frames, deadlines and business needs.

- Summary:
Manipulate and manage small to very large datasets including merging, matching, rotating and de-rotating as well as pulling of stratified samples and creation of new variables using SPSS, STATA, and Excel. Working independently, apply sophisticated statistic models for analyzing datasets. Plan and execute univariate (cross tabulation, Nonparametric Tests, ANOVA, etc.) and multivariate (linear regression, logistic regression, survival analysis) analyses using SPSS and STATA. Investigate and propose solutions for validating and integrating data from different sources including, survey data, administrative data, clinical data, and statewide and nation-wide public economic data. Produce reports and presentations using MS Word and MS PPT. Maintain MS Access databases and produce routine reports that track key elements to support ongoing projects. Develop and program surveys, and perform data collection using a variety of techniques including surveying and electronic means of data extraction. Literature review, summarize articles and market research, and fieldwork planning and implementation.
- Minimum Requirements:
Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Statistics, Economics or a closely-related field plus one (1) year of research experience in statistical analysis including: experience developing sophisticated statistic models linear regression, logistic regression, and survival analysis, and programming univariate analyses including cross tabulation, Nonparametric Tests, and ANOVA using SPSS; experience in programming data manipulation including merging, matching, rotating and creation of new variables using SPSS; experience working with MS Excel, MS PPT, MS Access and MS Word; experience analyzing cross-section and longitudinal data, and using large public economic dataset from US Census Bureau and US Department of Labor; and experience developing and programming surveys. Experience gained during graduate studies acceptable.
